Marco Calì, our master gelato maker, learned the art of gelato from the best Italian masters and collaborates with professionals and industry associations.
His philosophy is simple and profound: to create a gelato that speaks of quality, authenticity, and creativity, made only with natural ingredients and without compromises.
By his side is Elisa, the organizational and creative soul of Gelab. She manages our communication, event planning, and handles quotes for our gelato cart service as well as for special projects and collaborations, both in Italy and abroad.
Elisa ensures that every event becomes a special experience, tailoring each service to fit the occasion while inspiring Marco’s creative work in the lab.
Gionata is Marco’s right-hand man in the laboratory. Every day, they carefully select the finest raw ingredients and craft natural, original flavors together.
His precision and attention to detail guarantee that every scoop of Gelab gelato offers a truly authentic taste experience.

100% Natural: made exclusively with fresh, selected raw materials, without pre-made bases, semi-finished products, artificial flavors, or chemical additives. Each flavor is created from scratch, with a unique recipe.
Gluten-Free Guaranteed: All of our gelato is entirely gluten-free. We’re proud to be the first gelateria in Como officially recognized by the Italian Celiac Association (AIC).
Vegan-Friendly Options: Beyond our classic fruit sorbets, we offer a variety of vegan cream flavors like chocolate, hazelnut, pistachio, almond, and peanut – all completely dairy-free.
Low Glycemic Options: Upon request, we also prepare vegan cream gelato with no added sugars, ideal for low-glycemic diets and health-conscious lifestyles.
